Course Duration
645 face to face hours comprising of 3 days per week @6.15 hours per day over 35 Weeks
430 online assessments and study time in addition to face to face hours
73.8 Salon hours for salon experience and assessment in addition to face to face hours @6.15 hours per day, 3 days a week over 12 weeks
Total 1316.00 hours course total
Salon Days will be utilised for practice, assessment and providing salon services which includes running the reception area, cleaning, washing etc.
Duration and amount of training for this qualification has also been informed by the AQF for a Certificate III level qualification which has been taken into consideration when developing this course including the following.
The purpose of the Certificate III qualification type is to qualify individuals who apply a broad range of knowledge and skills in varied contexts to undertake skilled work and as a pathway for further learning. Certificate III qualifications are located at level 3 of the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Students not eligible for Certificate 3 Guarantee funding may enrol fee for services at a cost of $5400. This course is not offered to international students.
