Overview

The Certificate III in Business BSB30120 has been designed for individuals who would like to develop confidence and understanding of workplace procedures, so they are able to use their initiative and be of influence on their work team outputs; including WHS processes, workplace effectiveness, financial record keeping, monitoring, and maintaining resource usage, skills to write business documents etc.

By completing this qualification with the Gold Coast Training College, you will learn how to apply a broad range of business skills in the different working environments. Additionally, you will gain skills in working as a team, operational effectiveness, resource allocation, communication within a business environment and use of business software.

Entry Requirement

There is no formal entry requirement for this course. It is recommended for
individuals aged 15 and over who are seeking to begin or progress in a career where
a nationally recognised business qualification is beneficial.

On-Campus (Face-to-Face Mode)

Designed for students who thrive in a structured classroom setting with direct instructor guidance and peer collaboration.

  • Duration: 40 Weeks (during school terms)

  • Class Schedule: Every Monday

  • Class Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Location: GCTC Southport Main Campus

  • How It Works:

    • Attend scheduled face-to-face workshops led by experienced industry trainers.

    • Complete group activities, practical simulations, and theoretical assessments workshop on campus during class hours.

    • Full access to campus facilities, labtops, industry research, and trainer support during designated hours.

    • Students should allow up to 20 hours per week of self-directed learning in industry research. Students with exposure to a real workplace should be able to apply this learning on the job rather than spend as many hours doing the self-paced learning

.

Workplace Requirement: No mandatory work placement. All practical tasks are conducted within simulated workplace environments on campus

    Full Fee for Service: $1,950.00 AUD
    Interest-free payment plan is avaliable. $500.00 AUD deposit is required upon enrollment. The remaining balance can be paid over 40 weeks.
